Timer not working properly #611

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start timer and then go to other work
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the timer doesn't keep track appropriately. not sure if it is pausing when not 
clicked on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac 10.10 chrome Version 38.0.2125.111

Please provide any additional information below.
I click the timer to start then click off and do work. When I go back to the 
timer either no time or barely any time has passed on the timer. At one point I 
was working for 1/2 hr our more but only a min or two had passed on the timer.

Does this still occur? This was a problem on an old version of the app, but it 
was fixed long ago.
