Ability to report back summary results from a pipeline stage to appear in the report #79

What would also be really nice -- some way to provide summary results back to 
the HTML report.  It could be optional, and could require some specific type of 
file extension or something, but in the case of sickle pe, something like this:
FastQ paired records kept: 32418748 (16209374 pairs)
FastQ single records kept: 2936403 (from PE1: 2705474, from PE2: 230929)
FastQ paired records discarded: 636074 (318037 pairs)
FastQ single records discarded: 2936403 (from PE1: 230929, from PE2: 2705474)
