Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install stardict_3.0.4-1_i386.deb
2. Run `ls /usr/lib/stardict/plugins/stardict_festival.so'
3. Weep

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
stardict_festival.so is not included in the DEB package.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.4-1 on Debian Wheezy (although the "About" dialog says I'm using 3.0.5).

Please provide any additional information below.

Hello, Hu Zheng!

I'm so glad the development of StarDict is back on track! I've been using
StarDict for more than five years now!

Since Festival supports much better voices than Espeak, I'd like to be able to
use Festival with StarDict. I even tried installing the package
stardict-plugin-festival from Debian, but StarDict doesn't recognize it,
probably because it was compiled for an older version of the program.

Thanks for your attention!
