I recently made a post on Reddit exploring the attention limiter and it's settings, as well as the other generation settings that play well with it, as it seems that the default settings in both the node and suggested by most model makers do not tend to produce optimal results, leading to a lot of people initially dismissing the node. My findings can be found in the thread here.
To mitigate this, my suggestion would be to have presets for the sigma values for the attention limiter, along with a an option to adjust the values manually. The values I would suggest for solo realistic and 2D generations are based on the following results:
It might additionally be beneficial to give some guidelines either in the main ReadMe or in a sub-document that the ReadMe links to with the recommended generation settings I've outlined in the Reddit post linked above.
