Huhhila Regarding #216, there used to be a command block on test server with giant chickens...
SX So command blocks were used for resizing things? I thought it was done with //lua command.
Huhhila yes command block which called //lua
SX Oh well, probably command blocks were added so other can use those without knowing what to write for we command.. Never tested myself, did it work well? I mean hitboxes and so on or was it simple and just model scaling? (Mostly about hitbox sizing, if it is not very accurate then scaling might not work very well)
AceRichman i created the giant chicken spawner on the test server, it scaled both the visual size and the hitbox, main problem was that it got reset when the area was unloaded, because the size isn't saved I also tried it with players, but that was even worse, the visual size seemed to get reset just by changing what you were holding
wsor on_activate......
SX That's suggestion to override mobs code, I think at that point it might be better to add new mob instead and possibly reuse textures.

I think "Introduce a Anything that can be tamed and ridden" will receive a lot of +1 votes and it would be good to take another round for voting but ask about what creature it should be for example:
Introduce a:
... and so on.
that can be tamed and ridden.
I mean question used in voting is bit flawed and one of those questions you can simply craft and know overall outcome before even asking.

There was some weird 1970's horror movie w/ rabbits the size of VW beetles (cars). We should have a mob like that. Feed a uranium rod to a regular rabbit and get a huge one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Lepus Night of the Lepus Night of the Lepus (also known as Rabbits) is a 1972 American science fiction horror film directed by William F. Claxton and produced by A. C. Lyles. Based upon Russell Braddon's 1964 science fiction novel The Year of the Angry Rabbit, the plot concerns an infestation of mutated rabbits.
would be neat if they were tamable and ridable. Ride into battle w/ a bow+arrows on the back of a huge rabbit... and they need to eat flowers of of the ground, or entire trees.
Only specific trees, like rubber to keep them bouncy when they eat trees, do they shit microblocks? If so, we need a use for the rabbit poo, so its worth trying to collect / farm it. IRL, rabbit pee can be used to extract phosphorus and nitrates, both useful for making explosives.
CNC spheres could be better than microblocks :) Better as in shape closer to real deal, worse if you think about recycling and using that stuff.
Make it poo fertilizer?
Is there a residue you can use for the nuclear reactor part of the game ? You put a uranium rod into a rabbit, does it use all of it to grow, or will it shit out parts that can be used for the reactor?
Maybe radioactive something but can't really see anything that could be directly used on reactor / for reactor
Chernobylite would be probably be best bet if looking for "dirty" material that can be reused Direct use is to get uranium dust but anyway end product is usually uranium fuel rods chernobylite blocks can be grinded and dust processed to obtain uranium and sand
And can't you craft 1 new node from 9 micronodes ? Yes, that's why I said that CNC spheres would be better for shape but worse for reuse as those cannot be crafted back to full nodes.
