SX New tools and armory, this needs some testing to see if new items are balanced well enough with old ones. Probably have to check what advantages and disadvantages new things have.

gnkalk Hi. Given that pandorabox now has the highest number of elements among other servers, it is better to have other elements such as Cloud or to build axe and more with Obsidian =)) ?

Huhhila I meant that proposed obsid stuff code currently utilizes obsid ingots in a way that no other mod on pandorabox does... so things like lua sorting tubes (assuming those still have users) would likely need yet another special case under for such unusual-ingots. And objecting to unnecessary complexity/inconsistent recipes in general.

OgelGames I see no reason why it couldn't be changed to just use regular obsidian nodes, i think the ingots are just to make it less expensive

SX how ingots makes obsidian less expensive? i mean there's obsidian shards already available if less expensive recipes are needed (ingots do not really make sense for glass anyway)

OgelGames Not outside of that mod.

SX Maybe not that good if it is only for few tools, if there would be some use like additional building block then it would be a lot better. Still, I don't exactly like recipes that are too far from reality. Because of teaching aspect. I don't think glass mixes that well with hard metals.

Assuming that product uses actual real world raw materials, I'm still fine with some completely made up things where you don't have as much connection to how things work irl.

I installed the obsidianstuff mod on the test-server, didn't get to test it yet...

I'm not sure we should use that mod, not only because of the obsidian ingots and recipes, but also because most of the textures are just desaturated lavastuff textures :/

I think it's probably better (and easier to maintain) if we make our own mod (or I could...), it shouldn't be hard to make better textures like this: obsidianstuff_pick-export

There are water-breathing beacons, so players can wear full armour in water already. However in space it might be interesting to have more than just a shield. Personally I don't like the idea of combining any armour with space suit. A shield ok and possibly some breath-extender.
