vim compiled with python #48

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use your yearly constructed, beloved .vim with plugins and all
2. start it
3. doh! vim is compiled without python support

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
no errors starting vim / errors and disabled plugins

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Terminal IDE 1.95 / android ICS

If nobody's going to compile vim with python, then at least teach us how to do 
it?
