Invalidation is an additional type of change, different from clarification or retirement. Invalidation is used in GR in cases of mistakes or errors.
It’s unclear how invalid items should be handled generally—do we allow linking to them, etc.—but it looks like invalidation is being added to ISO 19135-1, so RegistryKit will have to support it.
