How to maintain education material? #5

Hi everyone,

There are some great tutorials listed in this repo's Readme. I just used some today, and this was great.

My concern is: how can we maintain these materials. I'm under the impression that they were built at some point for a given event, but kind of left as is after that. This is somewhat a complicated subject, it is hard for many of us to put effort in maintaining all this. I have no great suggestion to solve this problem...

Should we put more effort in a few repositories listed here? Should we just try to keep the list up to date?

This is a very common question both for research and education, so we have a jupyter discourse post started to discuss testing notebooks. This is only one component of maintenance, but is related. Please feel free to add your ideas there, and hopefully the result is a solution that we can all make use of.
