Hi, @pangfumin , here is the bag files containing two parts:
this is the bag file
containing the /scan topic using rplidar and using LMS511 with your laser_node driver respectively.
Actually, the point in the two red Dashed box in the picture below should be the same(a line represent the wall) .

The parameters of LMS511 are listed as following which I got from the terminal when I run the laser_node :
1.frequency: 50Hz 2.resolution: 0.5 degree

I encountered a problem using your laser_node package to get the data from sick LMS511lidar, when I scan a wall, the result should be a line in rviz, but it shows a circle which could be seen as follow:
do you have any ideas about this?
could this be a problem related to your laser_driver?
