[interesting] Germany's hacker conference 31C3 cleary says: "No mobile authentications!" #536

Just an interesting opinion that usually has a lot of impact: Currently 31C3, Germany's largest and most important hacker / infosec conference is happening. This first days already show a clear path in the future of mobile authentication: It's a no-go, currently !

This is interesting, as mobile authentication is usually sold as the next-level security thing (two-factor auth, mTAN, password-less logins, etc.).

Hey are you at the 31C3 right now? I could say a few words about "JugendHackt" but unfortunately i dont have time :(

I hope i can be there next year :)

@M0ritzWeide Hi, no I'm not there, just watching the streams / talks on the web. :) It was always my plan to join, but there was always something "more important" or a time-blocker as it's usually between christmas and new year's eve.

Maybe next year :)

Yeah they have to do it in Summer or at the beginning from December but not between Christmas and New Year's eve. :)
