Acer AOD150 Networking (wired and wireless) #192

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install from retail 10.6, standalone updater to 10.6.1 (issue present 
before update as well)

What netbook are you using this on?
Acer AOD150

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected detected ethernet and wireless, both listed as supported.  No 
wireless is shown.  Ethernet appears but shows cable unplugged, known good 
switchport.

Following in dmesg
ath_dev_attach[3182]: unable to attach hardware; HAL status 13

It appears there is no entry for an Acer product in the machine.plist.

I'm new to OSX86 so I could be wrong, but shouldn't there be?

You just need to add AttansicL1eEthernet kext to the additional extensions to 
get ethernet working on the D150.

I have same problem i have fixed enthernet... but i don't know how fix wifi 
please
give me some more info on kext requaired

I have the same unit, you have to ditch the wifi in it for a dell 1300, That is 
what I did and everything works 
great now, but no sleep :( just don't shut the lid I guess
