What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. restore 10.6.3 retail to 8gb usb key
2. run netbookinstaller 0.8.5 provided by merklot
3. boot into verbose mode
What netbook are you using this on?
china macbook air copy.
atom n280 2gb ram
1366x768 screen on GMA950
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
boot to install screen. it failed to boot...
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.8.5 - on boot?
Please provide any additional information below.
I once got the 0.8.4 version of netbookbootmaker to run and it went through the
install process and hung up on the latest_dsdl syntax error- but since then I
cannot even get an unmodified 0.8.4 or 0.8.3 version to boot even with snow
leopard 10.6 retail image... i'm pretty sure I used the same images and i've
tried using different NBM and NBI versions and it no longer boots. Nothing has
changed in the bios or on my computer...
At this point, elliottforcelegacyRTC and IOACPIFamily are showing up in the
panic screen...
any recommendations to getting around those two so I can work with what comes
up next?
