Maybe VerbHelper.kext causes the problem of slow boot?
It may could be a problem of the initialiazation of sound.
I have tried following:
Erased VerbHelper.kext in the EXTRA-directory , have run UpdateExtra.app, and
rebooted. Of course - now
sound has disappeared. But what I found out: NOW THE BOOT TIME WAS MUCH FASTER..
Is there the chance to optimize VerbHelper.kext in order to get a faster
booting Mini10v?

My slow boot problems seem to be related to the card reader - disabling it in
BIOS fixed the problem for me.
