[Request] F-Droid release

Given the app is free and open source, I think releasing it on F-Droid would be a great idea!

They can not do this, without permissions.

Yea. F-Droid only takes app submissions, they don't apps on their own.

For a F-droid release, it might also be a good idea to look into 2 things:

potentially being able to replace the gapps requirement that's likely mostly being used for notifications by an open source alternative for the f-droid release (likely have them both in but at build -- would require building twice though -- or run time depending on whether it was installed through google play or elsewhere, determine whether to use the alternative or not?)
I noticed there hasn't really been any new releases on github either as opposed to google play, might wanna fix that too? (latest release on github was 2021-09-02, but I just got today 2022-10-15 a new update via google play to milktea, granted I'm in the beta on google play but still I refuse to believe that all the releases on google play for over a year have all been beta releases?)

Disclaimer: I'm not related to F-droid at all, but I've noticed a lot of projects on there tend to offer their releases as well independently of F-droid and GPlay
