Add note to readme.md about branch name change #548

I updated the default branch for the repository to main. This PR adds a note to the GitHub repository to document the change. The intent is to remove the notice after a version bump (or two).

This note only appears on the README.md file as it's not relevant to the WordPress.org plugin. This update does not affect the release of 2.3.3.
