Sasi has requested on the forum, that we include the “Individual“ field when exporting Independent Captures for a species. Please see the forum post for more information.

Shannon Dubay - After reviewing Sasi’s forum post ( https://pantheraids.org/forum.html?p=post%2Findividual-id-in-independentrecord-csv-export-file-12608789%3Fpid%3D1334909748 ) closely, it seems that IDS has at some point included the Individual column/field in these exports. I have checked with Lauren, and she believes that this field has been included at some point. So, we’ll just need to include the Individual column when exporting the independent captures. Any thoughts on this Shannon?

I am not sure if the “Individual” attribute has ever been included in the independent export, to be honest. It could have been but it just doesn’t come to mind. It should be relatively easy to add this attribute into the independent export, although note it should be incldued in both CSVs that are created- one with a full records export and the other with the independent records only.

NOTE- the method in which the independence is calculated is very particular, and nothing should change with these calculations.

The only thing that should change is that before the independence is calculated, the individual table should be joined with the other tables in order to get that “Individual” attribute/column.
