The transfer function parameters are hardcoded to assume 22.05kHz

There are various other issues (incl parameter range) and sound in general. A different model will be needed.

Please can we fix this? I need a more golden sound! With the added juicy!

I really like setBFree, but I think the overdrive sounds a bit cheap. Can you make is sound a bit more golden?

I love setbfree too, and it's a pittty that the overdrive doesn't have a better sound. It's the weakest point and by improving it, setbfree would be one of the de bests ...

I agree and do not use the builtin distortion.

The problem is that the distortion should be applied inside the setbfree software in the chain where it belongs and not after setbfree as we now have to do.. replacing the builtin code would make it right.

Maybe adding the code from some of Airwindows many distortion/overdrive related plugins would make it shine ? the Surge-synthesizer project has done precisely that.. https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/

If changing the distortion code is too much to hope for, would it be possible to have lv2 ports exposed for inserting whatever plugin that gives better distortion and get the insert in the correct place in the signal chain ?
