There is a link in the README to http://ditaa.org/ which seems to be a Japanese dating site. I don't think that is the intention!

Indeed this is about "DIagrams Through Ascii Art" - http://ditaa.sourceforge.net/ There was a .org website that allowed to directly render those, which apparently got lost.
