PANTHER:PTN000242650 adds "sphinganine-1-phosphate aldolase activity" (GO:0008117) and related terms to all genes under PTHR42735, but I think PTHR42735 should be split at least into two.
I don't see any good evidence that PDXDC2P/PDXDC1/CG1486 are involved in sphinganine metabolism. Seems that they should be split out from the PTHR42735:SF6 group at least.

PTHR42735 currently contains (examples):
These 3 human genes: SGPL1 (PTHR42735:SF6) = O95470 = Sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase PDXDC2P (PTHR42735:SF10) = Q6P474 = Pyridoxal-dependent decarboxylase PDXDC1 (PTHR42735:SF10) = Q6P996 = Pyridoxal-dependent decarboxylase
These 2 fly genes: Sply (PTHR42735:SF6) = Q9V7Y2 = Sphingosine-1-phosphate lyase CG1486 (PTHR42735:SF1) = Q9VRG8 = PDXDC1 ortholog
