Unable to configure gmail on Dell xcd28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.try signing in the account for using android market,etc
2.it says wait for 5 min
3.and then tells there is a problem contact customer care

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should configure the gmail account.
it shows sorry cannot login

What version of the product are you using (See "About" screen)?

Make/model of your device, and Android version?
 dell XCD28 android os v2.1

I don't think that's OSMTracker related, we don't use gmail accounts or 
whatever.

How did you get to this page ? That's the second time some one post an issue on 
a dell XCD28 that has nothing to do with OSMTracker, but with Android itself... 
Maybe someone put a wrong link somewhere ?
