OSMTracker with a walking kit

Hi,

I use a lot OSMTracker with the Vocal Memo while I'm working or running.
Each time I want to record a new vocal memo I must unlock my phone. This is not 
so easy when you ru and when you walk in a city thief can easily steal your 
phone. 

So I wonder if it's possible to use a headphone with a microphone like the one 
we usually have with the walking kit. Does OSMTracker can do that ?

Hi, that's indeed possible (although I haven't tested it myself) since it was 
implemented by a keen contributor a while back 
(http://code.google.com/p/osmtracker-android/issues/detail?id=59). You have to 
keep the button press while recording I think.
