Find a way to install a specific firmware in a miband or
Find a way to support all firmware (good luck with that)

I remember seeing the protocol for updates documented somewhere. Would be really nice to do firmware changes (like different icons or heartrate logging on the device).

I can't find it now but IIRC you have to send firmware in pieces and then apply it. It might be that it's stored in the ram instead of flash, that would be really neat.
