export to excel on Unix/Linux #109

I m using the functionality of pqgrid which is exportExcel. It works very fine on Windows.But it is not working on Unix or Linux . Nothing happens on export to excel button click.

Does exportExcel not work on Unix or Linux? Is it same with exportCsv functionality ?

Last time tested on Linux Ubuntu 12 with Libra office, it works fine.

Thank you sir for your kind reply. sir , I have few more doubts. 1) Is it necessary to have Libra office to export excel ? 2) Will exportCsv functionality work on centOs Linux ?
