Matrix resets trails upon scroll #1

When on mobile, the matrix effect loses any trail visible upon scrolling. Video attached for clarity.

Error seems to only occur on mobile. Is also occurring on safari so the issue is not browser compatibility based. If I had to guess this has to do with how smartphones communicate their screen size to the browser on scroll.
