Strange formatting for `subxt-codegen` #1629

Why does it generate # [codec (index = 0)] instead of #[codec(index = 0)]? And also enum values are single line instead of value per line, why is that?

Can you comment on what the formatting looks like in previous versions? I'd be expecting it to look naff offhand!

I had a quick look through the code to see whether we do anything special formatting wise and can't see anything; we just spit out a proc_macro2::TokenStream which will then be printed according to its Display impl.

One suggestion would be to apply rustfmt to the output to get something formatted how you want (this is what we normally recomment when using the CLI tool (ie subxt codegen --file artifacts/polkadot_metadata_full.scale | rustfmt).

We also have an example here which happens to use some prettificaiton library on the TokenStream you get back (see https://github.com/paritytech/scale-typegen/blob/11160a6a2bf29634b95960421fdb4766048a8eb4/typegen/examples/polkadot.rs#L31-L32) which might be a way to go (I haven't personally looked to see what that output looks like offhand)!
