Date Format on postback

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Pick a date on a datepicker field, post the data, which redirects back to 
the page, date picker has 00:00:00 in the value field.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
4/8/2010 expected (originally), get 4/8/2010 00:00:00

Please provide a URL to a page displaying the problem.
not on a production server yet

What version of the datepicker are you using? On what operating system? 
And Which Browser?
jQuery UI Datepicker 1.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.

went back and reread it, he was referring to your date picker on the jquery 
site, 
which i assumed was the same.
