mass register broken #146

with some inputs, mass-register stupidly hangs instead of issuing an error iirc this can be reproduced with unbalanced strings or similar input errors

adding a -v option to show input lines as they get parsed would be extremely handy in these cases so as to pinpoint where the problem is in the input

this has vanished now that we use a csv format - as of 0.51.1
