Force killed apps can't receive notifications

According to the docs forced killed app can't receive notifications.

Note that, by design, force-killed apps will not be able to receive push notifications. Launch the app again to reenable push notifications.

Is there a way around this so that even if the phone restarts my users can continue receiving notifications?

I'm closing this as it does not seem to be a Parse Android SDK issue.
