Could you please check out the troubleshooting section of the documentation, specifically the information about the logs? You can reply with the contents of the main.log file here, so I can review it

The log doesn't show much. (Note, that I'm unable to enable the Debug mode as there is no Preferences in the menus - And toggling developer mode does nothing)

Could you please update whether this still occurs in the recent release?

jkallio commented 2 years ago

Still having the same issue.

xxczaki commented 2 years ago

@jkallio Thanks for letting me know. In the most recent release, that is, v2.0.0-beta.3, I included some changes that should make troubleshooting such issues easier - you can try downloading this one and sending me the logs file.

Deleting the whole ~/.config/Parsify Desktop/ directory before reinstalling the app may also help.

xxczaki commented 2 years ago

I will also try testing the app on some Linux distributions myself in the upcoming days.

Thanks for the tip. The application now works after removing ~/.config/Parsify Desktop/ folder before install. (I tried with v2.0.0-beta.3)
