Can't use any shortcut in the new version 2.0 beta1&2.

xxczaki commented 2 years ago

Which operating system are you using?

sokouu commented 2 years ago

I'm using win10(latest version).

aiqojo commented 2 years ago

Same, the only shortcut that works is Ctrl+W to close the app. Ctrl+S, Ctrl+N, etc do not work.

alexboutros commented 2 years ago

Already sent an email a week or so ago about this not working on Windows, but thought I'd mention it also does not work on Linux (Manjaro KDE)

manoverda commented 2 years ago

The shortcuts still don't work on Windows, and I already lost data trying to use them. The CTRL-R to refresh the view render the file as empty. I have to close the file (without saving it) and open it again to retrieve my data. I also had to restart the application to have the results computed.

To miss the CTRL-S is a killing bug, It is the only way that I use to save any file, and I type it very frequently, to not loose what I type. So I lost lot of modifications in this application because it doesn't save the file.

Hi, Any news on this topic?

xxczaki commented 1 year ago

@sokouu @aiqojo @alexboutros @manoverda Thank you for your patience; the new v2.0.0 release includes some keyboard shortcut improvements, which should hopefully fix those issues. That said, I wasn't able to reproduce these problems on my devices, so I can't guarantee anything just yet — I will be happy to investigate further if needed, though.

This will no longer happen.

I removed this shortcut completely for now; all changes are saved automatically once a file is opened/created.

Still not fixed on Windows 11 with version 2.0.0. Keyboard shortcuts don't work here.
