Unable to Import xls file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just import the xls file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When import the xls file throws the error

TypeError?: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object 
reference.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Flex 3 on Windows xp
