This is something I had on the original ember client issues, and is starting to make sense again now that I'm looking at the demo.
Let's use the demo app to post feature requests, and start using the app ourselves to iterate on it. And let's leave signup open to anyone who wants to play with the app, which will likely be very few people (if any at all) in the beginning. And then we don't need to futz with facebook test users.
I think in this case we should implement github login too.
