@jesicarson Just realized we're missing a 'Content Type' option for audio content (podcasts, radio stations, etc.). Would it be better (UIX-wise) to combine it with Video (eg. 'Audio/Video') or have a separate option for each (ie. 'Audio' and 'Video'

jesicarson commented 6 years ago

@scottofletcher i get it now. lol. whatever you like, just list it in the final spreadsheet. maybe separate them since we might eventually add audio to the media section of forms. But really its whatever you want.

scottofletcher commented 6 years ago

@plscully do you have a preference about this before I finalize the spreadsheet? I think we could get away with 'Audio/Video' but, then again, I guess they could be quite different types of teaching resources. I'm thinking of when I took French - lessons that used audio involved more participation than videos (ie. audio lessons usually involved 'listen and repeat' or 'listen and answer these questions' vs videos which usually just involved watching a skit and then filling out a questionnaire or worksheet)

plscully commented 6 years ago

@scottofletcher Let's have separate values for video and audio, especially since podcasts have become ubiquitous

scottofletcher commented 6 years ago

Sounds good! I'll update that right now

scottofletcher commented 6 years ago

Oh, actually, should we say 'Audio' or 'Audio File'. Somehow I think 'Audio' might get mistranslated or misread to mean anything to do with speaking (including videos, speeches, lesson plans with pre-prepared questions etc.). sorry for splitting hairs

plscully commented 6 years ago

Sure, audio file works
