console.particle.io/events and console.particle.io/devices/deviceID event viewer hidden when no event selected #71

Feature Requests
Currently a lot of space is "wasted" in console.particle.io/events and console.particle.io/devices/deviceID when there is no event selected See here
I'd rather see more of the event data in the left panel than waste all that space to display nothing at all.
When no event is selected this element could easily be hidden like here
