We want some widgets to display or calculate things like:

Resistor color code to value and vice versa
Help for capacitor codes (e.g. 53n10) or 331

@felicitus Even though this idea is quite old, I would support it strongly!

My proposal: In the "Add Part" -> "Add Parameter"-dialog after selecting (for example) Capacitance next to the input fields maybe a "calculate from marking" button?

And for resistance (and inductance) a similar button with something like this here: https://www.eeweb.com/toolbox/4-band-resistor-calculator
