Feature Request: Per item serial numbers, selectable during "remove stock" operation #361

I'm using PartKeepr for a fringe use case but it is so close to what I need I think I can make it work. I have several IT asset rooms in multiple locations and need to track items in each, including new PCs, monitors and other items that have serial numbers. What I'd like to be able to do is create the parts as you already have but be able to associate serial numbers to a quantity during add/remove stock actions.

For example, if I go to add 3 new Printers (with the printer set up as a part), I'd like to have 3 text entry boxes show up on the add dialog where I can enter the serial number(s). Then during a remove stock action, I'd choose how many to remove and the serial numbers for the items actually being removed. How the serial numbers get selected - via checkboxes or actually typing them in wouldn't matter although the checkboxes would seem nice.

As you have the part data setup well in the database, it might make since to implement this more as an additional type of part, perhaps causing the serial number feature to only appear if a checkbox is indicated during part setup. That is just my opinion - you've done a great job with the application so far and I am just happy to have found it.

I'll second that. Partkeeper seemed like the perfect solution for IT stuff inventory; I know right now some users are using it to manage hardware loans and whatnot, having per-item SNs and locations would great facilitate using the app for this application.
