Intermittent Pumping #121

Open ACK-Engineering opened 10 years ago

ACK-Engineering commented 10 years ago

To aid in mixing drinks, ingredients with less amounts are modulated or pulsed to distribute the fluid more evenly throughout the drink.

For instance, if 1 is pump on and 0 is pump off: SND Margarita 111111111111 -- Tequila 010010010010 -- Lime 010010010010 -- Triple Sec 000001000000 -- Simple Syrup

Meredith would probably be glad to wright you an algorithm to calculate this.

Interesting idea. Thanks for the help for an algorithm, but thats pretty simple to do. :)

I could be nice to have an option in the DB where drinks can be dispense All at once, one ingredient at a time, or pulsed to distribute the fluid --  Juan Pablo Risso Washington, DC

Sorry for re-opening an old issue. Is there any reason why we would pulse (=straining motor?), instead of adjusting the motor speed?

eg. 45ml @ full speed 30 ml @ 66% speed 15 ml @ 33% speed

Should all end roughly the same time, resulting in more equal distribution, and maybe (if pumps get more accurate the slower they go) even result in more accurate pours for the ingredients in lower quantities.
