Cannot Commit or Patch Changes from Child to Master #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Created the child site and navigated to child
2. Added a new article
3. Added a new component
4. Navigated to Component Working Copy
5. View Differences
6. Select All 
7. Commit changes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect the article on the master site along with the component installed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
we tried both 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 and neither worked. We are using Red Hat
Linux Enterprise Server

Please provide any additional information below.
