Creating child just creates directory with configuration.php file. #31

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Fresh install of joomla
2.Install wcp v. 1.0.1
3.create child with default settings.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting it to copy files and database tables. Instead only the
configuration.php file is copied and none of the database info.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using v1.0.1 on Windows XP with WAMP. Joomla version 1.5.18

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried only copying the files and only copying the database but neither
of those seem to work. I get the same result no matter which browser I use,
and I can't imagine that it is because the site is too big, as it is a fresh
and empty Joomla install, so it is as small as it can get.

I am a very sad panda.

Well this only seems to happen on my localhost MAMP install so I'm guessing it
isn't a problem with the component.

Not sure, probably it is from php configuration or folder permissions. Do you
have php safe mode enabled?

No, I don't have safe mode enabled, and the folders are writable.

I don't imagine that it is in my configuration settings because I have had it
working before on this version of MAMP. But it really doesn't matter too much,
I have the same downloaded copy installed and working fine on my linux server,
so it's not a bug in jwcp.

Thanks for the quick response btw, and for the software. It has plugged a
rather large hole in Joomla, I seriously hope that you will be modding it for
1.6 if necessary.
