Advantages: bookmarks will be available in the awesome bar and we can can tag them with keywords so when people will type bug, crash in their url bar, we can propose to go to bugzilla or about:crashes for example. We can also have the nightly blog.
This issue discusses the various default bookmarks we could add. So far I thought of:
about:crashes
bugzilla
MDN
the mozilla.org/contribute page
The Nightly blog
Nightly Tester Tools (https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/nightly-tester-tools/)
The IRC channel
Are there more resources that you think would be useful for Nightly testers ?
The default bookmarks are for end-users and are not useful for a population of technical testers on Nightly.
I am going to propose a different set of bookmarks for Nightly that make more sense, that's https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1283076
