General improvements #2

This PR adds a couple of tweaks to the docs:

Added action.yml file
Updated documentation with YAML syntax (instead of old HCL)
Added support for inputs instead of env for non-token options (backward-compatible)

Since every modification is backward-compatible, I would publish a 1.0.1 release (the documentation is already updated for that version number).

This PR closes #1.

Sorry, I totally forgot about this PR! I updated it a bit, merging the example in the docs/ folder and in the README into one. I also linked to your version-check project :)
