Yura, do you want to volunteer? It is very unlikely that current contributors 
would
resolve this issue as none uses Maven.

We would also like to get this hosted using Maven. We have our own public 
repository and can make the proccess automatic.

The problem is that we would also like to get each version numbered. Right now 
we have to manually upload the files and fill in the version. If you either add 
a file with the version or tag each release in the tags/ folder in svn we can 
make it fully automatic. Can you, authors, change this please?

I support that issue, please post this library on public maven repository. That 
will for sure improve its popularity.

Yes, please do this - or at least create a repository in your own source tree 
that can be accessed and put the downloads there.
