Feature Graphic requirement of Playstore #29

Due to recent changes in the play store this is now required.

  1. Feature Graphic

The Feature Graphic field will now be displayed at the top of your app details on the Play Store app. This is a powerful tool to show off your creative assets and attract users. Image requirements and display tips are available under the Feature Graphic section of the Graphic assets, screenshots, & video article.

For apps that use a Promo Video, a play button will overlay your Feature Graphic, which users can tap on to begin playing your video. If you haven't provided a Promo Video yet, only the Feature Graphic will be shown.

Beginning August 31, 2014, you will be required to submit a Feature Graphic to update your app or Store Listing.

Requirement specified: Default – English (United States) – en-US 1024 w x 500 h JPG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha)

If anyone who is actually good at this part, it would be great to provide something that I can add to the store.

@miquelfire @heavensrevenge either of you can get me a 1024x500 image for a "Feature Graphic" on the play store? The changed requirements are detailed here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/6066610

For now I just used:

@tasermonkey I made one for the chrome store 1400x560 and i tried resizing but may need to make a pristine crystal clear version sometime. using http://www.deviantart.com/art/Ring-From-Movie-Lord-of-the-Rings-Render-318632361

the one i made: pwm-header

and the resized: pwm-1024x500

I just looked at the app in the store and I altered the image so the test is higher up since I'll show you what it looks like to me, but maybe it's best centered as it is now?

So I shifted the txt up but now you can have either, I only have a tablet screen to see this on so I don't know what it look slike on normal phone screens pwm-1024x500-2

Also, see how bad the ring's quality is? You should use the high-res version if you can :): ring-render

OK, I published it with the newer graphics. It may take an hour or so to update on the play store.
