I haven't had time to dive into webpack. It seems to be solving aproximately the same set of problems that assetgraph-builder tries to. So my best guess is that it would be a replacement rather than something that worked in unison.
I might be able to adapt the lazy loaded bundle syntax though. We've been looking for a standard syntax we could hook into to do the same
Thanks for your input. I gave it a spin over the weekend, but it's pretty much a all-or-nothing decision and loading CSS via JavaScript is a no-go for me.
