Battery Handling #98

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect 3S battery to your UAV
2. Configure Min. Battery Voltage (V) on Config Tool
3. Disconnect battery and connect 4S battery

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There will be no battery low warning with 4S and There will always be battery
low error with 2S battery.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MinimOSD-Extra_R800

Please provide any additional information below.
I know people traditionally choose batteries same voltage level but i
discovered this while testing 2S and 3S batteries.

If community want there are requests about battery voltage handling. We can
list them here as a list

[] Auto battery low warnings for different capacities
[] Able to display BATTERY2 MAVLink message #84
[] ....

It is true, that there is no such feature. However there is a workaround:

Configure Battery remaining warn level for 4s battery and Min. battery voltage
for 3s

This you can have configured immediatly.

I will think a bit more on this.
Normaly this is a very simple feature to implement, but there is no space.
