Due to get my parts soon and came across your work that looks like what i am interested in but i was thinking perhaps an alternative centre to allow easier printing and bars to start at this point. Not sure what this would do to strength Turntable_Base_Alt

Hey Stotty, that looks pretty good. I was thinking about a similar version, because the strength of the sidewall of my version is the weak point, when the stepper motor gets warm. Especially when printing in PLA. That could be a great alternative, because the flexing sidewalls are way thicker than mine. Maybe I‘ll consider designing a similar version with some small tweaks to add more rigidity. But I have to say: I think it‘s a little harder to print because of the floating areas within the connectors. I‘ll think about your input. Thanks very much.

No problem i will probably start printing part this week or next in prep for the components, so happy to test a few designs if you would like any help. And yes as there is no orientation that would all connector holes to print without floating it would probably need support there.

Only way i can think of overcoming that would be to completely redesign your connectors, but i will leave it with you. Turntable_Base_Alt2
