Can this work? Need new alexa service installed on Raspberry Pi. Possibly receive communication on IPC of Node.js? Or other communication receive method?

Would need Alexa skill(s) + custom handling API on our Node.js server

use IPC to catch requests. Idea: Widget to display text on command by alexa. Would act as proof of concept

Will give Alexa voice input for standard functionality. Will need to build skill/lambda for custom commands like the widget
