I would like to discuss this at the next IPA bi-weekly meeting.
Specifically, in the context of our planned "In-Market Test", I'd like to get feedback from other publishers or advertisers to see if there is some particular multi-touch algorithm they would really like us to implement such that it's available for use in the test.
The current "IPA end-to-end" doc provides an example of how to achieve "last touch attribution" via an oblivious algorithm which can be run in MPC.
It would be nice to also provide an example of an oblivious algorithm that could provide some simple type of "multi-touch attribution", for example, "equal credit, up to the last 3 touches".
It would also be nice to benchmark this and see how much it would change the overall cost-structure of an IPA query.
