Search results show pages we don't want shown #12

Comments from the site reviewers in October, or other pages generated when it was being "vetted" before launch, show up in the search results. Is there a way to "unpublish" or otherwise segregate them so they don't show up in results?

For instance, I search on IOF (because they updated their site and changed all their links!) and this is one of the results returned: http://orienteeringusa.org/content/failed-links

BTW, I don't understand the labels. Does this go under "configuration" or "content"?

Those nodes need to be unpublished or deleted. Do you want to do that?

I spent some time last night doing just that. Some published (test?) pages just had Lorem ipsum text in them -- those were deleted! I unpublished all the website issue tracker comment pages but left them in the database, for future reference in case anyone's interested in the history... Think I got them all, so I'll close this issue. (Note: it wasn't easy as Drupal doesn't like going from page to page and remembering what you did on the last one...)
